Coit Tower
Coit Tower 1 Telegraph Hill Blvd San Francisco, California
94133 415-362-0808 Map
Sitting atop Telegraph Hill is this beautiful monument believed to be in remembrance for the fire fighters who fought the 1906 earthquake fire. The beautiful grounds overlook the Bay Bridge, Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, and it also gives an impressive view of the city at night. Inside the tower are a history museum, murals, and a greater view of the city. Dogs are allowed on the grounds and around the walking areas; they are not allowed inside the tower. Dogs must be under their owner's control at all times, and be leashed and cleaned up after.
