Dogs on leash are allowed on the trails and in the lake. There are miles of trails near this beautiful lake. The easiest trail to reach from Interstate 5 is the Bailey Cove Trail. For a map of all trails, stop at the Visitors Center and Ranger's Station located just south of the lake on Interstate 5 at the Wonderland Blvd exit in Mountain Gate. The Visitor's Center is about 8 miles north of Redding.
