Solstice Canyon Park
Solstice Canyon Park Corral Canyon Road Malibu, California
805-370-2301
Map
This park is a wooded, narrow coastal canyon which offers five trails, ranging from easy to moderate hikes. One of the trails is called the Solstice Canyon Trail. This is an easy 2.1 mile round trip walk which passes by the Keller House which is believed to be the oldest existing stone building in Malibu. Dogs are allowed on the trails but must be leashed and people need to clean up after their pets. To get there from the Pacific Coast Highway 1, go through Malibu and turn inland onto Corral Canyon Road. In about .25 miles the entrance will be on your left at a hairpin curve in the road. This park is part of the Santa Monica Recreation Area.
