This award-winning winery has certain wines that are unique to Ventana and Meador Estates, such as Beaugravier, Magnus, "Due Amici", and Dry Rosado, in addition to an impressive list of other classics. The old stone house tasting room was built in 1919 and is surrounded now by lush greenery and splashes of color and fragrance from all the potted flowers. There are tables and bench seating on the patio that also has an open-top fireplace, and is a great place for a picnic. Dogs are not allowed in the building, but they are allowed on the patio and around the grounds. Dogs must be friendly, leashed, and cleaned up after.
