Rent a patio boat with your dog and explore Lake Del Valle. Each patio boat holds up to 6 people. There is a 10 mph speed limit on the lake. It costs about $70 for 2 hours or less. All day rentals are available for $100. They do require a $100 refundable deposit (credit card okay). Prices are subject to change. The rentals are available from 6am-5pm, seven days a week, weather permitting. This lake is about 5 miles long and is located in Del Valle Regional Park, about 10 miles south of Livermore. To get there from Hwy 580 heading east, exit S. Vasco Road. Turn right onto Vasco and head south. When Vasco ends, turn right onto Tesla Rd. Then turn left onto Mines Rd. Turn right onto Del Valle Road. Follow Del Valle Rd to the park entrance.
