This 88 site campground, of tall pines, wildflowers and wild roses, is located in the San Bernardino National Forest at an elevation of 7,000 feet. RVs up to 40 feet are allowed. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, paved parking, flush toilets and trash dumpster. The Hanna Flat Trailhead is located at this camp. Pets on leash are allowed and please clean up after them. Dogs may not be left unattended. To get there take Highway 18 to Big Bear Lake Dam. Go straight, do not cross over the dam. Highway 18 becomes Highway 38. Go the Fawnskin Fire Station and turn left onto the Rim of the World Drive. Go about 2.5 miles on a dirt road to the campsite. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
