Just as important as an optimally located fully furnished Tahoe house with entertainment options (books, movies, Jacuzzi) is knowledge of the numerous options available to pet owners. We have plenty of suggestions and all the necessary details to guide your stay at North Lake Tahoe: - Pet walks (from serene walks to strenuous hikes), in Winter or Summer - Which beaches are closest and best for pets - Winter dog appropriate activities (snow shoeing, cross country skiing, sledding) - Pet sitters (a general rule is that dogs are not to be left alone in the house) - Outdoor restaurants which allow pets - 24 hour vet services, in case of any emergencies - Best spots for pet shopping - Parks and other public facilities which allow pets There are a few dog rules: please no pets on the furniture; you must clean up after your dog; and of course pet owners are responsible for any damages incurred. We otherwise do not charge extra for pets, and we cater to all sizes! Finally, upon your arrival we will have a dog bowl, treats, a spare leash, and other goodies ready for our 4 legged friends.
