This beautiful open meadow area offers 314 campsites at 8,600 feet altitude, and half of the sites can be reserved; the other half is on a 1st come 1st served basis. Each site has a fire ring, picnic table, and a food storage locker with potable water, flush toilets, and a dump station in camp, and groceries, laundry and showers nearby. Dogs are allowed here and at 7 more of the 13 campgrounds in Yosemite for no additional pet fee. Dogs may not be left unattended while tied in a campsite, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times. They are not allowed in any group camp areas, on any hiking trails, beaches, in the backcountry, or in public buildings. For reservations call 877-444-6777. This RV park is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
