Rich in natural and cultural history, this day-use primitive recreation area has no developed camp areas or facilities and is located along Highways 20 and 16. It is maintained and managed for wildlife habitat, rare plants, the protection of archaeological resources, and to provide primitive recreational opportunities including offering multi-use trails, wildlife viewing, river running, hunting, and fishing. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be under their owner's control at all times. They may be off lead if they are under voice command. Please clean up after your pet, especially on the trails.
