This Klamath National Forest campground has 9 camp sites with no water but there are vault toilets. There is no charge for a camp site. Hiking from the East Fork Campground provides access to the lakes in the Caribou Basin, Rush Creek, and Little South Fork drainages. The campground is located 27 miles southwest of Callahan next to the East and the South Forks of the Salmon River. It sits at a 2,600 foot elevation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended outside, except for short periods, and only if they will be quiet and well behaved. Dogs must be leashed in camp and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed on the trails, and they may be off lead on the trails if they will respond to voice command. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
