Columbia Gem Motel

Columbia Gem Motel 22131 Parrotts Ferry Rd Columbia, California
95310 209-532-4508
Map
This dog-friendly motel offers gracious, country hospitality, comfort and privacy. The motel is set on a sunny parklike acre beneath towering, majestic pines, cedars and sequoias, which provide a shady umbrella over their 6 cozy log cabins and 4 motel rooms. For a little extra, they can provide the perfect getaway with champagne on ice, flowers, wine, cheese, crackers, chocolates, or bubblebath waiting for you in your room. They can also arrange breakfast in bed or can help with any other ideas. The motel is located within walking distance (about 1 mile) from the popular dog-friendly Columbia State Historic Park. The Gold Mine Winery/Micro-Brewery is located about 1 block away from the motel. The winery has a nice outdoor covered patio and lawn area. They have free wine and beer tasting and they also make pizza from scratch, any way you like it. The management are of the belief that people who travel with their "best friends" are responsible pet owners and a pleasure to have as guests at The Gem. Dog owners are not penalized with an extra fee here. Instead, management has a simple, common sense pet regulation form they have each owner read and sign. Dogs are not to be left unattended in the rooms.
