Meeks Bay Campground

This campground is at 6,225 feet elevation and is located in the Lake Tahoe Management Basin Unit of the National Forest. The camp offers 40 tent and RV sites. The maximum RV length allowed is 20 feet. Amenities include water, flush toilets, fire rings, picnic tables and barbecues. Pets on leash are allowed but not at the beach. Please clean up after your pets. Dogs are allowed on the trails. The camp is about 10 miles south of Tahoe City, located near D.L. Bliss State Park. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
