Known as the city's original boutique-style hotel, and graced with a great location in Union Square right on the cable car line, this striking 1913 hotel offers 131 stylish guest rooms with full private baths, a 1930's Art Deco lobby, beautiful jewel toned décor, and many in-room amenities. One dog up to 70 pounds is allowed for an additional one time pet fee of $75. This is a Personality Hotel property and one of four local hotels that offer the "Every Doggie is a Diva Package" with prices starting at $189 per night. This deluxe package includes the overnight accommodations (so no additional $75 fee), a bottle of water, a designer pet bowl, a personalized dog tag, a plush sheep skin throw, a 1 hour VIP dog walking tour highlighting favored parks and fire hydrants (Monday through Friday-noon to 1pm), and a Petco amenity box with treats, biscuits, 2 flavors of dog food, and a red paw print bandana. Dogs must be leashed, cleaned up after, and crated if left alone in the room.
