Get Map or Directions

This regional park has over 2,000 acres including Lake Anza. Dogs must be on leash in the parking areas, picnic areas, lawns and developed areas. Your dog can run off-leash in other areas and trails, just make sure they are under voice control and you must carry a leash. Your dog should be under voice control around bicyclists and equestrians - this has been the biggest area of conflict for unleashed dogs. At Lake Anza, dogs are not allowed at swimming pools or swim beaches. But you should be able to find a non-swim beach where your dog can play and swim in the water. The park can be reached via Canon Drive, Shasta Road, or South Park Drive, all off Grizzly Peak Boulevard in Berkeley.
