This park offers many campgrounds which range in elevation from 2,100 feet to 7,500 feet. The Lodgepole, Dorst, Grant Grove and Atwell Mill campgrounds are located near giant sequoia groves. The Lodgepole campground, located at 6,700 foot elevation, is one of the largest camps and offers 250 sites. Tent and RV camping is available, with a maximum RV length of 35 feet. Amenities at this campground include a guest laundry, deli, market, gift shop, pay showers, flush toilets and more. Some of the campgrounds are open all year. Pets must be leashed and attended at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Keep in mind that dogs are not permitted on park trails and it may be too hot to leave them in the car. Please see our listings in the towns of Johnsondale and Hume for details about nearby dog-friendly hiking, sightseeing and additional camping. A couple of the camp areas are not accessible to RV's, so research ahead. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
