A very important park with concern to the wildlife habitat corridor that it provides, it also supplies 4000 acres of recreational land. Some of the features/amenities include globally unique combinations of tree species, lush greenery and spring wildflowers, abundant bird and wildlife, year round streams, a nature center, hiking and multi-use trails, and picnic areas. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and on the trails. Dogs must be under their owner's immediate control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
