Thanks to one of our readers for recommending this dog-friendly restaurant: "A terrific restaurant we found for breakfast during our morning walks is the Trailside Cafe. I know you request an address, but i don't have a specific one, except to say it is on the Monterey Rail Trail (Monterey Recreation Trail). ...my pooch loved the ocean view of the trail, but most importantly the special biscuit treats he recieved from the waitstaff when we ordered our wonderful breakfasts. the food is marvelous and staff very good... the patio has a breathtaking view of the pacific. Remember,,,, TRAILSIDE CAFE...on the rail trail in monterey, only 2 blocks from the victorian inn."
