California

Map

This 4,500 acre regional park offers about 5 to 6 miles of dirt single-track and fire road trails. The trail offers a variety of landscapes, with elevations ranging from 200 to 2000 feet. If you are looking for some exercise in addition to the beaches, this is the spot. Dogs must be on a 7 foot or less leash. They can also be under direct voice control which is defined by park management as you having close visual contact of your dog, not letting them run far ahead or behind you, and having a dog that listens to your commands. Dogs are not allowed to bother any wildlife, other people or other dogs. People who violate this regulation may be citied and lose access priviledges. Please also clean up after your pet. The park is located 8.6 miles east of Highway 1 on Carmel Valley Road.
