Located in the Modoc National Forest at 6,700 feet, this camp area gives everyone a view of the 640 acre tree-lined lake, and the fascinating surrounding landscape created from ancient volcanic activity. There is a variety of land and water recreational activities available and close access to other points of interest. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs must be on no more than a 6 foot leash at all times, and be leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and on the trails except in the picnic areas and the designated swimming area.
