Dogs are not allowed on any trails. They are allowed in day use areas and on over 500 miles of dirt roads. The roads can be used by cars but there is usually not too much traffic. Pets must be leashed and please clean up after them. The park is located about a 2 hour drive from San Diego, Riverside and Palm Springs off Highways S22 and 78.
