This 3.4 mile moderate rated trail is located in the Cleveland National Forest. The trail elevation changes from 4,000 to 5,100 feet. It is open from early spring through late fall. Pets on leash are allowed and please clean up after them. To get there, take Highway 79 south toward Warner Springs. At about 2 miles southeast of Sunshine Summit take Forest Road 9S07 west. In about 7 miles the trailhead sign will be found on the left side of the road. Parking is in the wide area along the road. (Vehicles must display a Forest Adventure Pass.)
