This campground offers 13 tent and trailer sites along a small mountain stream amidst large Douglas fir trees. Large RVs are not recommended on the roads to this campground. Day use parking for the dog-friendly Chemise Mountain Trail is located at this campground. Camp amenities include picnic tables, grills, water and restrooms. Sites are $8 per day with a maximum of 14 days per stay. Pets are allowed but must be leashed in the campground. If off leash on the trails, they must respond to voice command and not chase wildlife. Dogs may not be left unattended. To get there, take Highway 101 to Redway, go west on Briceland/Shelter Cove Road for 22 miles, and then head south on Chemise Mountain Road for 2 miles. Travel time from Highway 101 is about 55 minutes. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
