This is a nice diversion for those pups that enjoy being around horses. Southern California's largest Equestrian Center has a covered arena where many top-rated horse shows are held throughout the year. Your dog is welcome to watch the horse shows if he or she doesn't bark and distract the horses. To see their upcoming events list, check out the official website at http://www.la-equestriancenter.com or call 818-840-9066. When there are no shows, you can still walk around on the grounds. There is a horse trail to the right of the main entrance where you can walk your dog. Or if you want to do some shopping, your dog is welcome in 1 of the 2 equestrian stores (which also has some dog treats and toys). The dog-friendly store is called Dominion Saddlery and is located behind the store that is next to the parking lot. They even have water bowls in the store for your pup.
