This picturesque park, snuggled in the foothills of north-central California along Black Butte Lake, offers a variety of recreational pursuits and an interpretive trail. Next door is a 75-acre all-terrain park. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs must be on no more than a 6 foot leash at all times in the camp and trail areas. Dogs may be off lead at the backside of the lake only if they are under voice command. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
