This hiking trail is about 3 miles each way and is rated moderate to difficult. To get there from the village, head west on Hwy 18 and turn left onto Tulip Lane. The trail begins by the Alpine Glen Picnic Area. Remember, to park here, you'll need a Forest Day Pass. Check with your hotel or some of the stores in the village for info on where to purchase this pass.
