This bar has been recognized by the California Historical Society as one of 14 continually operating bars in the state since the 1800's. In addition to libations, they also offer a variety of live entertainment, board games, a pool table, light meals and snacks, pastries, and espressos. They offer outside seating; just go inside to order and pick up food items (alcohol not permitted at outer tables). Dogs are allowed at the outdoor tables. They must be well behaved, under owner's control at all times, leashed, and cleaned up after.
