This campground is located in open high desert country at 7,000 feet and has 47 tent and RV sites available. Please note that there are no trees and the winds can be strong. The area overlooks Crowley Lake which is a popular site for fishing. The campground is usually open from late April until the end of October. Camp amenities include 4 pit toilets and pull through trailer spaces. All sites are first-come, first-served. This campsite is managed by the BLM (Bureau of Land Management), and there is a $5 per night camping fee. Dogs are allowed at no additional fee, but please keep them under control, and leashed in camp. The closest convenience stores are located in Mammoth Lakes, about 10 miles north of the campground or at a very small store in the Crowley Lake area. After exiting H 395, go west through the Crowley Lake community for about 2 miles. At Crowley Lake Drive turn north and go about 2 miles. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
