This campground is next to Bass Lake in the Sierra National Forest. It is at an elevation of 3,400 feet and offers shade from dense pine, oak and cedar frees. There are 113 campsites for tent and RV camping. RVs up to 40 feet are allowed, and amenities include piped water, flush toilets, picnic tables and grills. The campground is open all year. A .5 mile trail called The Way of the Mono Trail, is located near this campground. Dogs are allowed at the campgrounds, on trails and in the water but only at non-designated swimming beaches. Pets must be leashed and please clean up after them. Dogs may not be left unattended outside, and they are not allowed on the beach. Check in at the Bass Lake Campground office before heading to your campsite. The office is located at the west end of the lake near Recreation Point. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
