Four Diamond small resort especially designed to accommodate travelers with pets. The inn is simultaneously rustic and elegant, embodying the rugged Mendocino Coast. Ocean view accommodations are paneled in natural wood and furnished with amenities including feather beds, wood burning fireplaces, antiques, sofas, televisions with VCRs and DVDs. The resort offers complimentary breakfasts featuring a choice from the menu of organic omelets, waffles, burritos, and more. A large pool, sauna and Jacuzzi are protected from the fog by a solarium. Massage in the Forest provides massage and body work and yoga. The Inn's Catch A Canoe & Bicycles, too! offers kayaking and canoeing on Big River Estuary as well as mountain biking and. Special canoes are set-up to provide secure footing for your dog as well as a bowl of fresh water (Big River is tidal and for eight miles and therefore salty). The Ravens, nationally acclaimed vegetarian/vegan restaurant serves organic cuisine. Well behaved pets may join you at breakfast or dinner in a dining area created especially for them. Feed and water dishes, covers to protect bedding and furniture, sleeping beds and treats are provided in the rooms. There is a $25 fee per stay.
