Brannan Cottage Inn is located in the Napa Valley's most unique town of Calistoga--the town's motto is "Hot Springs, Cool Wines, Warm Welcome." This charming National Register of Historic Places B&B was built in 1860 by Samuel Brannan, Calistoga's founder. It features unique architecture, a wraparound porch, ornamental gardens and lawn, four comfortable and luxurious one-bedroom units and two larger mini-suites (each can sleep up to four adults). All rooms have A.C., private baths, ceiling fans, refrigerators, telephones, etc. 5 of the 6 rooms have fireplaces and skylights. We offer a full, delicious breakfast and a Friday afternoon "wine and cheese hour" with a unique local winery providing the liquid refreshment. Rates range from $155 to $255 plus tax per night, based on single or double occupancy. The Inn is walking distance to Calistoga's popular restaurants, spas, and shops and within two miles of more than 15 wineries.
We have two rooms that are pet friendly (of 6 total rooms)and special rates for pets and their owners. The pets (dogs especially) are welcome to romp on our newly re-landscaped lawn area. Dogs are also welcome in many of our local wineries. There also is a big "park" (the athletic fields for the high school) across the street in back, and the excellent hiking trail ("Oat Hill Mine Trail") starts about one half mile to the northeast. We also provide Travelin' Dog Pet Amenities ("for discriminating dogs and their people") for our four footed guests, including such things as liver biscotti, dog cookies, and doggie clean-up baggies.
