In downtown Santa Barbara there are several popular shopping areas. One shopping area is on State Street. Two dog-friendly stores, Big Dog Sportswear and The Territory Ahead, allows dogs inside the store. Another area, an outdoor mall adjacent to State Street, is called the Paseo Nuevo Shopping Center. Here there are several outdoor retail kiosks. State Street shopping is between the 100 and 700 block of State Street between Cabrillo Boulevard and Carrillo Street. Paseo Nuevo is around the 700 block of State Street, between Ortega Street and Canon Perdido Street.
