This 7,000 acres of public land has just over 17 miles of trails with various loops. Elevations vary between 750 and 1,750 feet. This is a popular area for hunting, hiking, horseback riding and wildflower viewing. Leashed dogs are welcome. Please clean up after your dog. There are no park fees. The land is located near Highways 49 and 120. From Sonora, take Highway 49 south 15 miles to Chinese Camp. Then drive south on Red Hills Road for .5 miles.
