This is a basic snack stand but what makes it nice is the fact that it's in Griffith Park between the Griffith Observatory and the Mt. Hollywood Trail. Your pup can't go in the Observatory, but can walk up the outside stairs to the roof and check out the view of Los Angeles. At the Mt. Hollywood Trail, there is a 6 mile round trip dog-friendly trail. Load up on snacks and water at this stand. To get to there, take Hwy 5 to the Los Feliz Blvd exit and head west. Turn right on Hillhurst or Vermont Ave (they merge later). Go past the Bird Sanctuary and Greek Theater. Stay on Vermont Ave and you'll come to the Griffith Observatory and snack shop parking.
