This park offers tree-shaded groves alongside four small fishing lakes, allowing for nature study, and some of the amenities include picnic areas with tables and grills, restrooms, group areas, a walking/bicycle path that winds through the park, and historic sites. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be leashed at all times, and cleaned up after. Times vary through the seasons, but the winter hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, and in June and July they are open from 7 am to 8 pm.
