Rancho San Rafael Park

Rancho San Rafael Park 1595 N. Sierra Street Reno, Nevada
775-828-6642
Map
Dogs are allowed in the undeveloped areas of this park. Dogs must be leashed with one exception. Dogs may be off-leash only at certain times at the multi-use pasture area. If there are special events or activities on the multi-use area then dogs are not allowed at all on the field. This includes when the hay is being cut and harvested. Portions of the field may be muddy when the pasture is being irrigated. Leashed dogs are allowed on a hiking and walking path which crosses over McCarren Blvd. It is a dirt trail which narrows to a single track trail once you cross over McCarren Blvd. Just be careful when crossing over McCarren because the speed limit on the road is about 45-50mph. To get there from Hwy 80, exit Keystone Ave. Head north on Keystone. Turn right onto Coleman Drive. Take Coleman until it almost ends and turn right into the park. Park near the Coleman intersection and the trailhead will be nearby.
