The hotel diplomatic is situated in the historical downtown of Rome, between spanish steps and vatican city.The most famous monument can be join in a few minuts walking. Colosseum, imperial forum, trevi fountain,navona square, pantheon are attanaible in 15 to 20min, s.peter basilica and vatican museum in 10 tO 15 min and the main airport is 38 km away from the hotel. In front of the hotel, there is the public trasportation bus stop that goes to the main train station Termini and to the most known places of Rome. Please note that as of 1st January 2011 a City Tax will be introduced in the city of Rome. This will be a fixed stay contribution for all the Client staying in the City of Rome. Kindly take note that this contribution will be applied also to other tourist services (buses, sightseeing, boat tours on the Tiber and seaside facilities). The contribution for 3 stars hotels is EURO 2.
