Set on 500 acres in Carmel Valley, this upscale resort is 3 miles from hiking and biking in Garland Ranch Regional Park and 9 miles from the ocean at Carmel Bay. Suites feature fireplaces and private decks, plus flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, iPod docks, and Keurig coffeemakers. Select suites offer kitchenettes or separate dining areas. Located on-site is a spa, a golf course, and 9 tennis courts, plus 2 outdoor saltwater pools, a gym, and a business center. Dining options include a sleek organic restaurant, a grill eatery, and a cafe. Four-legged friends are welcome to explore the hotel's 500 acres of "sniffinÂ?, rompinÂ?, fetchinÂ? good times." Pups will be provided their own plush dog bed, selections from a specialized pet room service menu, and miles of hiking trails. For the ultimate in pooch comfort, plush dog beds are offered in both medium and large sizes. Pets must be leashed at all times and abide by a pet agreement signed at check-in. There is a $150 per stay fee.
