On the shores of man-made Cheyenne Lake, this luxury resort is located 11 miles from the Colorado Springs Airport and just 2 miles from the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Elegantly decorated rooms have flat-screen TVs and Wi-Fi. Posh suites add extra living space. There are also cottages with full kitchens, along with 4-floor brownstones and ranch stays. Amenities include several pools and an 18-hole golf course, plus a spa and tennis courts. There are 8 restaurants and clubhouse eateries. Activities include art and fitness classes, as well as rock-climbing and fly fishing. Two dogs of any size are welcome per room. There is a $75 per pet per night pet fee.
