Some highlights of this park include marine and wildlife viewing, learning about historic structures, enjoying amazing views, and a pass by an international airport gives adventurers another feature of interest. The trail follows along the coastlines of Knik Arm and Cook Inlet and travels some 11+ miles south to Kincaid Park with mileposts every 1/2 mile. The trail is accessible at the far northeast end of W 2nd Avenue near the railroad depot and at the far southwest end at Kincaid Chalet with several connections to the trail in between.
