You can relax on a half day smooth water raft trip, tour the rapids, or rent a houseboat that can sleep up to 12 people. The houseboats come with an assortment of amenities. There are also eight day and 14 day expeditions where you will cover almost 300 river miles, and negotiate nearly 200 exciting rapids safely, and in first class comfort. Their season runs from April through September. Dogs are not allowed on the tour boats, but they are allowed to be on an individual boat rental. Dogs may not be left unattended at any time, and they must be leashed and cleaned up after. There is also a lodge on site that offers a fine dining restaurant, gift shop, lounge, and spectacular views of Lake Powell. Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $20 per night per room. Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside the room, and they are not to be left unattended in the room or tied up outside on the patio or balcony. Dogs must be attended to or removed for housekeeping. If your pet is accustomed to being on the bed, they request you ask for a sheet to put over the bedspread.
