Established in the late 1800s, this is the region's oldest park and it is home to ancient Native American burial mounds; only 6 remain of the 37 that once set along the bluffs. There are paved trails to the bluffs giving spectacular views of the city's skyline and the Mississippi River. Dogs are allowed throughout the park; they must be licensed, on no more than a 6 foot leash, and under their owner's control and care at all times.'s Sponsor's Sponsor
