Prior to prohibition, this winery was the country's 2nd largest winery and well known for their fine wines and their vaulted underground cellars. After a long process of rebuilding, it is now the state's oldest and most awarded winery. Dogs are allowed on the grounds and picnic areas; they are not allowed in buildings. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after at all times.
