Some parks discontinue phone service and get new numbers the following season, but 406-752-5501 is a non-changing number for park information. This park, located on Grasshopper Creek, is a registered historic landmark, and offers a variety of land and water recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed at no additional fee. Dogs may not be left unattended, and they must be quiet, well behaved, be on no more than a 10 foot leash, and be cleaned up after. Dogs are not allowed in public swim areas, but they are allowed on the trails. This campground is closed during the off-season. The camping and tent areas also allow dogs. There is a dog walk area at the campground. There are no electric or water hookups at the campground.
