The three-floor Hotel Donaldson has 17 all non-smoking rooms in various layouts. Each room is designed around the work of a different regional artist. Rooms feature mini-fridges free Wi-Fi Bose stereos iPod docks and LCD flat-panel TVs with premium cable. Some rooms also have jetted tubs. Speaking of tubs there's a great hot tub on the rooftop deck overlooking the Fargo skyline. The hotel also has a fitness room a laundry facility valet parking (for a fee) a fine Midwestern restaurant a lounge and a rooftop restaurant with city views. Pets are allowed for an additional fee. The Donaldson is in Fargo just north of I-94 and two blocks east of Plains Art Museum. The Amtrak station is five blocks north and the Fargodome and Fargo Air Museum are two miles northwest. Families have lots to see at the Red River Zoo a five-mile jaunt. If you're driving from Hector International Airport the hotel is five miles southeast.
