Once used as a coastal defense system, this park now features interpretive signs with in-depth descriptions throughout the fort, and there are nice places along the Delaware River for walking and picnicking. Dogs are allowed throughout the park and on the trails. They are not allowed in any buildings. Dogs must be well mannered, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times.
