This park is 3,600 acres of wildflower filled meadows (butterfly paradise), heavily wooded mountains, and interesting geological features such as the giant volcanic Caprock. There is also a 120 acre surface lake, the Coal Camp Interpretive Trail, various scenic trails to hike, a visitor center, and a variety of land and water recreation. Dogs of all sizes are allowed for no additional fee. Dogs are allowed on all the trails-except ski trails in winter and they must be leashed and cleaned up after.'s Sponsor's Sponsor
