There's nothing standard about this property which is set in a restored Victorian railway terminal. Built in 1908 and featuring a massive 85-foot cast-iron dome the historic landmark property was converted to a hotel in 1973. Of the 266 accommodations 48 are aboard restored Victorian-era train cars large enough to house queen-size beds. All come with free Wi-Fi and coffeemakers. In addition to acres of landscaped gardens the hotel has an exercise room an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool with a waterfall. The 40000 square feet of conference space make it the ideal setting for a business gathering or a large family reunion. Multiple dining options are on hand and there's a lobby bar. Pets are welcome and parking is available for a fee. The hotel is right downtown a mile-and-a-half from the Tennessee Aquarium and two-and-a-half miles from the the Chattanooga Zoo. It's adjacent to the free CARTA shuttle making it easy to reach local sites. The Choo Choo is nine miles from Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport.
