Reenactments, living history programs, the Winmill Carriage Collection, formal gardens and grounds, an equestrian center, numerous special events throughout the year, and a mansion are some of the highlights of this multi-recreational 1,200 acre park. (An extensive restoration project may limit access to some areas.) Dogs of all sizes are allowed throughout the park, at the picnic areas, and on the trails; they are not allowed in any of the buildings or on any of the tours. Dogs must be under their owner's control, leashed, and cleaned up after at all times. They ask that visitors, and their pets, stay in designated areas only.
