Dalhousie Castle Hotel

Dalhousie Castle Hotel

United Kingdom EH19 3JB
Located eight miles from Edinburgh, this historic castle sits on eleven acres of private parkland and wooded valleys for peak relaxation. As Scotland's oldest inhabited castle, its accommodations have housed guests like King Edward I, Sir Walter Scott, Oliver Cromwell, and Queen Victoria.

The castle hosts 29 guest bedrooms that are accessed by staircases and secret passages. The Castle Rocks annex rooms include the same amenities in a mix between a modern hotel and castle living just a two-minute walk from the castle grounds. All rooms feature soft Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy towels and robes, slippers, and Temple Spa toiletries. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom, flat-screen digital TV, direct-dial telephone, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and tea and coffee making facilities. Two on-site restaurants range include a cafe that serves breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and a bistro-style dinner, and a chic dinner restaurant located in the Dungeon (adults-only dining). There is also a luxurious on-site spa.

Dogs of all sizes are welcome. There is a ¬£25.00 per dog per night pet fee, and dogs are subject to availability. Dog-friendly rooms are located in the castle annex, Castle Rocks, which is a two-minute walk from the castle grounds, NOT the main castle. Pets aren¬?t allowed in the bedrooms, spa or restaurant areas within the main castle.'s Sponsor's Sponsor
