This dog-friendly Recreation Area spans 76,500 acres of land and water. It starts at the coastline south of San Francisco, goes into San Francisco and then north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Many of the San Francisco beaches and parks are part of this Rec Area including Baker Beach, Fort Funston and Ocean Beach. One of the trails is located south of Baker Beach. From Lincoln Avenue, turn onto Bowley Street and head towards the ocean. There is a parking lot next to the beach. Dogs must be on leash.
